Spoon Rest - Woolly Wear Sheep
Spoon Rest - Woolly Wear Sheep
- Celtic artistry spoon rest
- Heat resistant and dishwasher safe
- Ribbon hook for hanging
Our Welsh Dragon spoon rest with its vibrant colours will make a wonderful addition to any kitchen. It was designed in the style of 9th Century ancient Celtic manuscripts which would have been painted by monks onto vellum or calf skin. The Dragon was chosen as a symbol of Wales in the time of Henry VII (15th Century). This was done in tribute to the Welsh people who had made his victory possible, as he fought the Tudor claim to be the true rulers of Britain.
Measuring 9" long, the Irish Blessing spoon rest center has a diameter of 4-5/8" which is big enough for any utensil from spatula to ladle.
The handle arches up elegantly to support the utensil and has a ribbon hook for hanging. It is made of heat resistant and dishwasher safe new bone china.
